Virginia Elite Volleyball Club

This past weekend was yet another example of what a success the big sister/little sister program has become.  The gym where the 13 Blue and 13 Black teams played the VA Elite 13/14 invitational was not only lit up by the outstanding volleyball the girls played, but it was electrified by the amount of support shown by older teams! 

The gym was peppered with 16's and 18's players, along with other VA Elite coaches.  The teams truly appreciated the support lent to them by Maggie, Cydney, Madeline, Sydney, Alex, Hanna, Kenzie, Allison and other players and coaches.  They took over working matches so the players could warm up, made awesome signs, brough goodies for the girls and cheered louder than anyone else in the gym! 

One big sister/little sister combo truly stood out!  Madeline Fowler and Maddie McArthur, M&M as they are now affectionately referred to really showed the love.  Madeline showed off her artistic abilities making signs and brought a gift of assorted M&Ms, representing both she and Maddie!  However, she took it to the next level when she also "adopted" another little sister and worked tirelessly to support both girls.

Congratulations to both teams and THANK YOU to all the big sisters for their support!  We can't wait to see what awesome things come from MAPL-Hampton!
