July 5, 2026 Author: Webmaster
Congratulations to our coaches, athletes and families on the completion of another season of Virginia Elite Volleyball!
As we close out the 2025–2026 season, we want to recognize the athletes, coaches, staff and families who continue to make Virginia Elite successful. Our staff puts an incredible amount of time and energy into providing high-level training and a competitive, positive experience for our athletes, and we are grateful to everyone who contributes to our club throughout the year.
So, Let's Get Into This Season
Our commitment to putting Virginia Elite teams in a position to earn bids and compete at USAV Nationals remains unwavering. That goal continues to shape how we build our schedules, structure our training and challenge our athletes throughout the season.
How Do We Measure Success?
Success is about more than the result of any one tournament. We look at the season as a whole—how consistently our teams compete, how they develop throughout the year and whether we are creating opportunities for our athletes to compete at increasingly higher levels.
By those measures, the 2025–2026 season was another successful year across Virginia Elite.
Tournament Performances
Virginia Elite matched last season's total with 47 Top-10 finishes, while increasing the number of high finishes across our tournament schedule.
This season, the club recorded:
- 47 Top-10 finishes
- 30 Top-5 finishes
- 16 Top-3 finishes
- 2 Tournament Championships
- 3 teams earned bids to USAV Nationals
One of the highlights of the season came at the CHRVA Bid Regional Championships, where our 13s, 17s and 18s each earned their way into the event. All three teams secured bids to the USAV Girls Junior National Championships, giving Virginia Elite three teams representing the club on the USAV national stage.
Throughout the season, our teams competed in CHRVA events, major multi-day tournaments and national qualifiers across the country. From our youngest athletes on 12s through our graduating 18s, every team contributed to the club's success.
College Commitments
The recruiting process remains an important part of the Virginia Elite experience, and we are proud to recognize the athletes from the Classes of 2026 and 2027 who committed to continue their academic and volleyball careers at the collegiate level since the end of last season.
