Akasha Anderson Named to NCAA Division I Regional All-Tournament Team

Virginia Elite Volleyball Club is proud to congratulate alumna Akasha Anderson on being named to the 2025 NCAA Division I Pittsburgh Regional All-Tournament Team!
Anderson helped Purdue University make an impressive postseason run, advancing to the NCAA Elite Eight with a victory over No. 2 seed SMU in the Regional Semifinal before facing Pittsburgh in the Regional Final.
Her performance throughout the regional earned her a spot on the seven-player Pittsburgh Regional All-Tournament Team, joining some of the top athletes competing in the NCAA Tournament.
A longtime Virginia Elite athlete, Akasha played with the club beginning in 2016 before continuing her collegiate career at the Division I level. A standout outside hitter from Herndon High School, she earned numerous honors throughout her junior career, including JVA All-National Team recognition and selection to USA Volleyball High Performance programs.
Akasha began her collegiate career at Auburn before playing at Michigan State and ultimately Purdue, continuing to compete at the highest level of NCAA volleyball.
Her latest honor adds another accomplishment to an outstanding collegiate career and continues a proud tradition of Virginia Elite alumni succeeding at the next level.
