Melanie Bradshaw
Floater Coach
Now entering her 14th season with Virginia Elite and her fourth as the club’s Recruiting Coordinator, CAP-I certified Melanie Bradshaw brings over twenty years of combined experience in club, high school, and collegiate volleyball to her role of helping Elite athletes achieve their goals of playing at the next level.
Prior to joining the Virginia Elite staff, Bradshaw served as an assistant coach at NVVA and as a head coach at Metro Volleyball Club for two and three years, respectively. She has also assisted several high school programs, including T.C. Williams and Paul VI, where she helped lead the Panthers to a state championship title in her first season. Bradshaw spent nine years coaching Virginia Elite’s 16’s, 17’s, and 18’s teams before specializing in helping the club’s athletes navigate the recruiting process. Her efforts have been instrumental in maintaining Virginia Elite’s 100% collegiate placement rate since its inception in 2005. Bradshaw often returns to coaching in academy practices and clinics, where she particularly enjoys training defensive specialists and liberos.
Bradshaw played for four years at Bluefield College, where she earned a B.S. in Exercise Science and Personal Training. She currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia and works as a Practice Development Manager at Shady Grove Fertility.
