Sydney Masterson
14's Assistant Coach
Sydney Masteron enters her second year with Virginia Elite as a 14s Assistant Coach, bringing over 11 years of experience as both a player and coach. Last season, she assisted with Virginia Elite’s 14s team and now continues in that role. Her volleyball journey began at age 8 at her local YMCA in San Antonio, Texas. She went on to compete as an Opposite and Setter with Texas Fusion Volleyball Club and continued in those roles as a starting player for TMI Episcopal.
Her coaching career began at Camp Ozark, where she shared her passion for the sport with athletes ranging from ages 7 to 17.
Masteron earned her B.S. in Mathematics from Sewanee: The University of the South. She currently resides in Arlington, VA, and works as a Statistical Analyst with The Aluminum Association.
