
Amanda Catalina
Floater Coach
Amanda Catalina begins her first season with Virginia Elite as a floater coach. Originally from Johns Creek, Georgia, Catalina played 5 years of club volleyball with A5 Mizuno. She led her 16’s team to a USAV Girls Junior National Championship title in 2011 and was named GJNC tournament MVP. Catalina went on to play an exceptional career for the University of Georgia, where she helped the bulldogs to an NCAA tournament appearance and was named team captain in 2016. She then returned to coach at A5 before joining Elite.
Catalina earned both an undergraduate degree in finance and a Master’s Degree in Sport Management and Policy from Georgia. She currently resides in Ashburn, Virginia, and works with RBC Wealth Management.
