Rachel Van Slyke
13's Head Coach
Rachel Van Slyke begins her fourth season with Virginia Elite and her second as the Head Coach of the 13's team. Originally from Anaheim, California, Van Slyke played for four years at a local volleyball club and had an accomplished career at Canyon High School. She also played intramurally while attending Boise State University.
Van Slyke graduated with a Bachelors of Science in K-12 Physical Education. She currently resides in Arlington, Virginia, and works as a Physical Education Teacher at the Alexandria City Public Schools Early Childhood Center.
